Improved Traffic Conditions for the 2005 ROT Rally
The ROT Rally promoters have arranged to limit the car and truck traffic on the main boulevard in the afternoons and at night, limiting the car and truck traffic to campers going to and from campsites only. Security at the gates has been improved to keep non-rally goers from entering the event.

The nighttime parade of bikes on the main boulevard will be routed through the rally grounds, creating a circular flow of bikes, in an attempt to limit u-turns, reduce backup and eliminate gridlock. All three gates will be open 24 hours a day starting Thursday at 8:00 AM. The 2005 Rally will have an increased number of traffic control officers and two additional motorcycle only parking lots.

 Record Number of Vendors!
Over 300 vendors are expected at this year's rally! That means you can buy almost anything you want right on-site at the rally. We have added 50 new outdoor vendor spaces because the Exhibit Hall and Showbarn are already sold out.

All of the outdoor vendor spaces we have left are expected to sell in next two weeks, so email us fast to snatch up those last few spots! A handful of 18 wheeler spaces are still available for those of you who need a little extra space to setup your booth.

Extra Amenities Added to the Rally Site
We have doubled the space for “motorcycle only” parking!

For 2005 the ROT Rally has added more camping grounds and we have groomed and improved access to additional tent camping sites along the main boulevard leading to Gate Three.

As a new feature this year, the Rally Staff have strategically placed air-conditioned comfort stations around the rally site. Even more and better porta-toilets have been added, especially along the main boulevard and concert area. These are not just porta-potties, but air conditioned mobile restrooms with attendants and wash stations.

We have increased the rate at which trash is picked up and provided extra trash bags at each trash can location. Uniform RV spaces have been designed and allocated by an Austin Engineering company. Reservations are required for all RVs this year and we have hired multiple parking attendants per RV lot. We will also have valet holding tank and fresh water services available for onsite RVs.
