The World's Largest Transportable BBQ Pit Will be at ROT

Eat like a king at the 2005 ROT Rally! An 18-wheeler converted into a BBQ pit is driving down to the ROT Biker Rally and setting up in the concert area so that you bikers can get a taste of the best BBQ in the south. This big rig is first class all the way and can cook more BBQ then any group of bikers could ever hope to eat. So come by and check out the largest BBQ pit on wheels. Seeing this huge BBQ truck is just half the fun because their food is out of this world!

Backyard cooks are wide-eyed because the Pit alone weighs in excess of 30,000 pounds and is pulled by a 1994 Peterbuilt Semi-Tractor, giving a gross weight of approximately 50,000 pounds. The Pit has a total length of 78 feet and a diameter of 5 feet - that's 102,361 square inches of cooking surface! Seven smokestacks extend into the air with the main stack towering 22 feet. The Pit has 48 doors, which are accessed via 5.6-foot walkways that travel the length of the Pit. The Pit can cook 6,500 pounds of brisket, or 1,300 whole chickens, or 1,250 pounds of ribs at one time. You just have to see it to believe it!
ROT Biker Rally Improvements and Enhancements

Every year the staff at the ROT Biker Rally receives thousands of requests, comments and criticism. Our success over the past 10 years has been achieved by listening to these requests. This year’s rally will have dedicated parking for motorcycles that represents a 300% increase in the area to park your motorcycle in “scooter only” lots and areas.

You also asked for new activities to provide a greater level of entertainment while attending the 2005 ROT Biker Rally. This year we will have an ejection seat that propels passengers 250 feet in the air at more than 4Gs! If you dig extreme torque from your scooter, just wait until you experience this rocket style acceleration into the air. Warning: This feature is not for the faint-at-heart and will quicken your pulse to levels you’ve never experienced before.

Looking for something a little more relaxing? Jump on board one of the affordable helicopter rides that range around the rally site and also venture into the Austin area. Maybe you passed on this opportunity last year, but the reaction from everyone who took the trip was positive and usually resulted in an additional ride by each participant.
