Austin encourages ROT to expand rally! |
|
|
The City of Austin has recommended that the 2006 ROT Biker Rally should expand the parade route beyond the river and block off even more downtown area for the party! This new course will create better conditions for those bikers participating in the bike parade by allowing for better vehicle flow and less stop and go traffic!
The organizers of the ROT Rally have coordinated with the Austin Police Department to design this new route to maximize the potential that Austin has to offer the ROT Rally and its attendees.
The advantages of this new approach to Congress Ave. include:
- Multiple new bocks to be corded off for the party!
- Fewer bottlenecks
- See the Capital building as you ride in
- Everyone can now park on Congress Ave.

In the September issue of Rumble Magazine an article was written about what a great biker party the 10th Annual ROT Rally was in 2005 by Skull Diva. We would like to thank her, Rumble Magazine and the article’s photographer Bruce Kenney for recognizing our event in this way.

Gather up your best pictures from the 2005 ROT Rally and email them to us at pics@rotrally.com.
At the end of the month we will post a gallery full of pictures sent to us by people who attended the 2005 ROT Rally. We want to see pictures of your bike, the crowds in Austin and scenic places around the Rally grounds. This is your chance to get your best pics posted on the ROT Rally website for all to see!
We saw lots of people at the ROT Rally walking around with cameras and we know that some of ya’ll are pretty good photographers! So show us what you got and send us your favorite shots of the 2005 ROT Rally and we will do our best to post as many pictures as possible on our website.
