JUNE - ROT RALLY NEWS

ROT RUMBLES AUSTIN!

Huge Crowds Spotted at the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally
Just how many people attended the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally? It took us a while to account for them all, but numbers are in. We had a record-breaking 33,000 registered attendees at the 2003 rally. That represents almost a ten percent increase over last year’s record numbers. To add to that, the Austin Police estimated that the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally also had 20,000 extra non-rally goers show up for the Bad Company concert and street party on Congress Avenue.

Thanks to everyone involved, the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally was once again the largest biker rally in Texas and a down right awesome party. We’ve been hearing great responses from rally goers and we’ve posted their comments on our website. Follow this link to visit our Testimonials Page to view or add an account of your experience at the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally.

The 2003 R.O.T. Rally Merchandise is Back in Stock Online!
Several items of official ROT merchandise that were sold out at the rally have been reordered and are now in stock on our web site. Pins, patches, posters, shirts, caps and more, the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally merchandise section of the website has it all. If it’s available, it’s on our web site. Follow this link to our online Merchandise Catalog on www.rotrally.com.

The 2003 Photo Gallery is Now Up on the R.O.T. Rally Website
The R.O.T. Rally’s photo gallery has been updated with the first wave of pictures from the 2003 rally, and the Official 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally Video is on the way. We have ten new photo sections dedicated to the 2003 rally posted right now, and we’ll be continually adding new pictures as they become available. We have over 10,000 photos that we need to sort through and categorize, but we have rushed to update our website with the best pictures we’ve seen so far. Follow this link to visit our
All Access Pass & Photo Gallery and view all the photos you've been looking for.

This photo gallery features categories such as Motorcycle Stunt Shows, Live Music, Party on Congress, The Ladies of R.O.T., and much more. Remember, we have posted only a taste of the 10,000 photos that we have of the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally, so come back from time to time to see the new pictures that we’ll be adding. If y’all have any pictures from the 2003 R.O.T. Biker Rally that you’d like to submit to the web site for possible posting in the photo gallery, use this link to
submit your pics to pics@rotrally.com for review and posting on our website www.rotrally.com.

Jerry Lee is Finally Getting a New Motorcycle
It wasn’t easy to talk Jerry Lee Lewis into doing two shows on Saturday night—he told us that he hadn’t done two shows back-to-back in twelve years—but when we promised to buy him a motorcycle, he finally gave in. Jerry Lee already owns a 1958 Harley (and he claims that it still runs fine), but he wanted a newer bike. We presented him with the keys backstage between his shows, but he came to Austin in a Lear Jet and had no way of getting it home. So one day next week, ROT Rally organizers Jerry Bragg and Jim Henry will be trailering Jerry Lee’s bike to his house a few miles south of Memphis. Jerry Lee actually lives just outside of the little whistle-stop hamlet of Nesbit, Mississippi.
