All Bikes, All-Weather and All Welcome... No matter what Mother Nature throws our way, we keep on rolling. The ROT Rally is an all-weather event, and it will be held, rain or shine. Rally Ends Noon Sunday! The rally officially ends at noon on Sunday. Sunday morning would be a good time to pick up some last-minute official ROT merchandise in the vendor mall (open on Sunday from 8am to 2pm). The ROT Rally officially closes at 2pm on Sunday afternoon. All campers must be prepared to break camp and vamoose no later than 3pm.

Xtreme Fighting Championship Saturday  (2:30 PM)   Xtreme Fight Championship, Central Texas premier Mixed Martial Arts Promotion Company, is working with Republic of Texas Biker Rally to bring an intense fight night to the ROT Rally. This event will take place in the Thunderdome on Saturday, June 14th. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., event begins at 3:00 p.m. Ten professional MMA fights, including a Title Fight, Superfight and Austin's first female fight. There will also be national MMA celebrity appearances. The ROT Rally wrist band and fight ticket are required for entrance to the fights. Three seating options: 1. General Admission - $10 2. 2008 Celebrity Bike Builders Thursday - Saturday  (Throughout Day)   ROT is the biggest and best motorcycle event in Texas! Each year, some of the country’s hottest bike builders come to join the fun and chat it up with fellow riders. Meet the celebrity builders and check out their newest custom creations, parts and accessories! This event is held Thurs - Saturday, in the Thunder Dome main floor. 2008 Celebrity Bike Builders: 1. Austin Speed Shop Invitational Thursday - Saturday  (Throughout Day)   The "Austin Speed Shop Invitational" features over 20 of the finest custom creations on the planet including four famous / celebrity cars. This invitational is proudly presented by the ROT Rally. This event is by invitation only so get ready for live pin-striping, hot rod art and guitar / pin-stripe raffle. Check back often for updates because there is a lot more to come!
2008 Tattoo Contest - Hosted by Miami Ink star "Ami James!" Friday  (Afternoon)   2008 Tattoo Contest will be hosted by Miami Ink's very own Celebrity Star, "Ami James!" That's right folks; Ami will be awarding cash prizes and trophies to the top six Tattoo Winners! This event will be held in Thunderdome, please swing by the Art Fusion Experiment to sign up for the Tattoo Contest. Categories include: 1. Best Overall - Guy 2. Best Overall - Chick 3. Sexiest 4. Most Hardcore 5. Best Black and White 6. Best Color Tattoo Anyone can join, but participation is limited...so sign up early!
Art Fusion Experiment Thursday - Friday  (Throughout Day)   The Art Fusion Experiment, by H2Ocean, is a live public performance by 3 of the nation’s finest Tattoo artists. The artists will be creating 3 separate collaborative pieces of art. The performance begins with each artist getting a bare canvas to paint on. After a set amount of time, the artists will rotate canvases and continue where the last artist left off. This collaboration will continue on until each artist has put their creative touch on each canvas. The Art Fusion Experiment Paintings will be raffled off and proceeds will be donated to charity!
Military Bike Give-Away Thursday - Saturday  (Throughout Day)   Military Bike Build Give-Away is built to honor a true American Hero. Troy Nicholson, from Lightning Cycle Works, has teamed up with the ROT Rally to demonstrate his Master Bike Builder skills by building a custom motorcycle in 3 days! Sign up in the Thunderdome located at the Military Bike Build-Off. Deadline for the Military Bike Give-Away is 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. There is a drawing at 1p.m. for the three qualified winners for a chance of owning the custom Military Bike! The three qualified winners must be available by cell phone or present to be 1 out of 3 qualified contestants. The winner of the Military Bike will be announced during the Saturday night concert. The three qualified contestant will be brought on stage for the drawing of the keys. Each contestant will draw a key and will have an equal opportunity to start the custom built Military Bike. One Bike One Winner! Guidelines for Entries: - Must have served in the military - All services and branches of the military eligible - All entries accepted on-site and must be present to WIN - Must present an active duty military ID, retired military card, or s/n number - Can also enter by presenting membership card to VFW or American Legion - Deadline for entries on-site will be Saturday noon, June 14, 2008 We are pleased to recognize, Marcus Jolly as the winner of the 2007 Military Bike Give-Away! Disclaimer: ONLY military veterans are eligible to participate. Title cannot be transferred until soldier identification has been verified. BIG Texas Chop off Thursday - Saturday  (Throughout Day)   The Big Texas Chop-Off is one of a kind invitational “Bike Build-Off.” This event challenges some of the best, yet undiscovered talented custom motorcycles that are unveiled for the first time ever at the ROT Rally. There is a mandatory riding portion of the competition where builders are required to ride their bike for at least 30 miles. The competition is judged by some of the best custom motorcycle builders in the world. The top three winners receive cash prize paying out $10,000. 2007 WINNERS 1st. Stand Up Comedy Thursday - Saturday  (Throughout Day)   ROT is bringing a new breed of comedy and entertainment from BarElite.com. Featuring a talent of trio: Steve Trevino, Nick Guerra, and Luis Rodriguez - as well as a few multiple personalities like "D Wane" and "Biker Paco." This act is part interactive MC'ing, biker comedy shows and spontaneous biker game shows. The only thing you'll know to expect from these guys is a great time!
World Famous Wall of Death Thursday - Saturday  (Throughout Day)   Brought to you all the way from Canada, "The World Famous Wall of Death!" For the past 30 years, this show features extreme acts of motorcycle races and death deifying stunts. Be amazed, as professional stunt riders race their motorcycles and high powered go-karts reaching speeds of well over 50 mph, on the side of a vertical wall. "The World Famous Wall of Death," is the only wall in the world to incorporate sword swallowing, fire eating and other freak-show stunts into the show; making this a must see attraction at ROT Rally 2008!
Texas Roller Girls Thursday - Saturday  (Throughout Day)   These tough ladies combine hearty entertainment with a "Keep Austin Weird" attitude to create freewheeling fun and competition. Swing by the Thunderdome on Thursday and Friday to catch their practice time and the big derby event is on Saturday, June 14th!
ROT Bars Thursday - Saturday  (All Day)   No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem…all is welcome out at the ROT Bars. We have 4 featured bars (Skyline Bar, Paradise Bar, Cowboy Bar and Drive-through Beer Bar) out at the rally grounds that are available for your convenience and overall great time! The Skyline Bar (located in the Thunderdome) is the only air conditioned bar at the rally. Come chill out at the Skyline Bar while sipping on a cocktail of your choice. The Skyline bar has a full bar for your enjoyment. Rumor has it that celebrities will be throwing back a few cold ones at the Paradise bar, so don’t miss your chance for a star sighting. The Paradise Bar gives ROT bikers a walk on the wild side and several tastes of paradise…ROT style! While here, you can crack open a cold beer while jamming out to the fine tunes of Ray Wiley Hubbard, Joe Ely, Billy Joe Shaver, Navasota and many more... The Cowboy Bar blasts onto the ROT scene this year with more than just music. This onsite icehouse has the coldest beer and the hottest chicks partying until the sun comes up! This rockin’ bash will feature live local musicians ripping it up on stage, hot chicks kickin’ it on the dance floor, and fun you will soon never forget! Oh and did we mention the bikinis? There’s a reason the men out number the women at ROT. So come belly up to the Cowboy Bar this year, we’ll save you a seat! Ladies: sexy cowboy hats a plus, boots optional! Drive Tru Beer Barn - With only you in mind, we have got you covered. There will be an on-site convenience drive thru Beer Barn providing you with every essential that you may need during your stay. Ice, cigs, cameras, condoms, beer...you want we got it! The Beer Barn is conveniently located across from the paradise Bar. The best of the best entertainment will be out at The ROT Bars. Bands, comedy shows, dancers, wet tee shirt contests!… Do I need to say more? Ok, see you there!
Vendor Vendors Vendors Thursday - Sunday  (All Day)   Shop til you drop at 2008 ROT Rally. There will be 300 of the best vendors at the rally that offer anything you are looking for under the sun. Come on out and see some of the coolest biker gear and don't forget to pick up your 2008 ROT Official merchandise. Ride-In-Bike Show Saturday  (9 A.M. )   The Ride-In-Bike Show exhibits the cream of the crop ROT Rally bikes. We welcome all bikers who would like to show off their fine cycles and compete for the best looking bike in their class. There are 18 classes geared towards all styles of bikes and builds: Harley, Metric, American Cruisers, Victory, Iron Horse, Ultra, European, Touring, side cars, rats, antique, motor scooters, sports and many more… Swing by the Cover Vendor Mall (next to Registration) 9 a.m. Saturday morning and let's see what you got!
ROT RALLY Parade Friday  (7:30 p.m.)   The Friday night ROT Parade leaves the rally site at 7:30 PM sharp. Thousands of bikers parade through the streets of Austin, rumbling to the downtown area where the real party begins! Come out to the 2008 ROT Rally and take part in one of the most unique and exciting party atmospheres you will ever experience. This gigantic parade is well know for drawing several spectators who line the streets of Austin along the entire route to watch ROT Rumble by in Big Texas fashion. Get ready Austin! Come join us this year for the greatest ROT Parade yet to happen!
Congress PARTY - Friday Night Friday  (Night)   The 2008 Republic Of Texas Biker Rally arrives in Austin, Texas from June 12th – June 13th making this the 14th consecutive year. Over 200,000 people pack the downtown streets of Austin during Friday Night of the ROT Rally to party biker style. This is the largest biker party you will ever see in the downtown district of any city and it simply cannot be missed! We'll party in style in plain view of the capitol and 6th Street. Congress Avenue will literally be shut down for biker parking only. The Rally Committee is pleased to present a FREE concert featuring headliner bands that will surely be a highlight of the 2008 ROT Rally. Mark your calendar now and we will see you at ROT Rally 2008!
Biker Games By Buda Saturday  (12 PM)   “Biker Games By Buda,” are motorcycle field games that involves riding skills of both pilot and passenger mixed with some fun! This event is located in the covered vendor mall and starts at noon. Winners of each event walk away with a guaranteed good time and a trophy in their hand!
