ROT 2011 Saturday - We're you there? Did you see Rick Fairless' Beatles Bike at the Custom Bike Show? Did you see all of the kick-ass bikes that participated in the Ride In Bike Show? How about those biker games? Are you kidding me? There was so much happening saturday at the Expo Center, there was no way to see it all.
Blox Stunt Riders performed tricks, FMX East Stunt riders jumped, flipped and flopped in that hot Texas cross breeze, the ROT Tatto Expo crowned the first annual Ms. ROT Tattoo, music filled the air all day long at the Paradise and Cowboy Bars and we gave away two Harley Davidson motorcycles to one pre-registered rally goer and one of our brave military servicemen. The night was capped off by the Doobie Brothers live on the main stage.
John Gaar took the stage at 8:00 and got the crowd primed for the rest of the evening's festivities with songs from his new album. By the time he was done the capacity crowd in the main stage amphitheter was ready to get it on. Joined by military service men and women, ROT's Denise Garcia announced the winners of our bike giveaways. Rally owners Colleen and Jerry Bragg then took the stage and thanked the crowed and staff for another successful, exciting ROT Rally.
The Doobies Brothers took the stage at about 9:45 and rocked the crowd with classic hits like Jesus Is Just Alright, Rockin' Down The Highway, Takin' It To The Streets and many more. Over in the Paradise Bar the concert was simulcasted to a full house. The Doobies finished up, but the ROT crowd wanted more and the band gave them what they wanted with a three tune encore.
After the concert, the bedlam that is the nightly Parade Of The Republic continued into the early hours of Sunday morning.
ROT Rally organizers would like to say thank you to all who participated in the 2011 ROT Rally, guests, staff, performers and musicians. We appreciate all of you. Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks as we will be updating our site with all kinds of good things from ROT 2011 including stories, photos, merchandise, and information concerning all the happenings at ROT.
Thanks again ya'll. See you soon.

Steel Horse Band was here! What a blast! We were thrilled and excited to play at this venue. The whole band had a great time. We would specifically like to thank Roadway Productions, Jimmy Berg, and Clint the sound guy. Y'all rock.
Extra Special Thanks are also goin' out to Buda and his crew. They took us in and treated us like family all weekend. Buda you already know "you are the man". Thanks, big guy and we'll see ya at your honky tonk real soon. Thanks to Mayo & Joey for driving us around on the golf cart and cracking us up. Thanks to Shaun & Albert for being cool & cookin' the food. Thanks to Vera for keepin' the boys entertained with her new tits and to her husband for lettin' her show 'em off.
We also want to thank Dave and Wendy for showcasing us on Saturday night. That was so cool and we are looking forward to working with you again soon. Dave and Wendy let us set up and rock the hell out of the last night, after hours crowd. Thanks to everyone who stayed around for hours listening to us play. What a great bunch of people.
As far as the rally itself goes, there is no real way to describe it. You just gotta go. They've got games, vendors, and thousands of people in rv's and tents. People brought pools, bbq grills, bikes, babes, beads, and golf carts. We saw so many cool and ingenious vehicles. There was a motorized over-stuffed lounge chair on wheels with tail lights, a steering wheel, a lighted patio umbrella, and titty girls on it. Go-carts with stripper poles full of titty girls everywhere. Why, we even saw a guy riding around on a motorized cooler...lmao. For real. He had a lawn mower engine and a seat on it... heh cool. Bubba wants one...
Thanks again to everyone who had a part in getting us there and making sure we had fun. We love you and God bless all of you. To all you bad ass bikers who showed up, God bless you too and keep you safe till next year.

Why were the bleachers removed from the concert site? Not all of us arrive in an RV so bringing a comfortable chair for the both of us on a bike is impossible. We do not like to sit in the grass. Remember "fire ants" anyone? Who can we contact to see if the bleachers could be replaced. They were not in anyones way where they were!
