The ROT Rally is about celebrating a style of life that is beyond the norm. It’s understood that motorcycles and tattoos share the same allure: Enjoyment of the Extreme.
This year will be a marriage of those extremes with the second annual ROT Rally Tattoo Expo. The tattoo industry is full of creative souls and talented individuals that love making a mark that doesn’t just wash away. Some of America’s top tattoo artists will be setting up shop in the Thunderdome and ready to show off years of skill. Even if you aren’t a tattoo aficionado, stop by and watch these artists work. They know how to make a point.
Asia has been tattooing and piercing for 15 years. She has also owned her own shop, A Touch of Asia Tattoo, for 4 years, Asia also does permanent cosmetics and is an instructor of this fine art as well with students such as the wonderful Mizuz Inkaholik. Born in Mexico City and brought to the U.S at 3 months of age, Vix grew up with a single mom, sister, and grandmother this inspired and motivated her to one day to become an independent successful business woman. After the completion of High School, Vix attended North Harris Community college for her Business Management Certification in Houston TX. Still residing in Houston, in December 2009, leaving Enchanted Oaks Animal Hospital, the job she loved and that was a part of her life for over seven years, she decided it was time to follow her dream. Vix became the only female promoter in Prestige Protainment at the time, even with the lack of experience and knowledge in the field this was something that she easily became successful at doing. Marketing herself gave her the opportunity to continue her success and meeting different people of all fields. That same year she was asked to be a personal assistant to the very successful and well known tattoo artist Adam Normand. With his already known status and Vix’s promotional help this duo continues to successfully work together. Traveling nationwide and internationally has given her a broader prospective on how to connect with people allowing her to easily expose Adam’s talent. Working alongside Rachel Cohen Photography; her unique look and body art made her a perfect fit to model and be part of photo shoots, calendar signings, and being in tattoo magazines. After working at the very successful night club Escobar, promoting and managing cocktail, in January 2011 Vix made her next move towards her dream, and became her own brand. Now owner and president of VIX.NEt, Vix is dedicated to promoting other talent and helping their dreams come true. With three clients already on board; Adam Normand, DJ Kicks, and helping local models excel with their career. Becoming for a short period part of the staff of Straight from the Streets Magazine she gained more knowledge in marketing, and also studied more of the music industry, and local acts.
Needless to say, there is no stopping this young woman. In continuation to make a name for herself and expand her network, doing this in the nightlife, but doing it as the head of her promotional company and putting on successful events in such venues as Vanity Lounge and Czar Lounge. Quickly these events opened more door into achieving her ultimate goal in being a part of the local music scene. Starting with a bang in a new industry; she became part of the promotional team for the 1st Annual Bayou Fest held in the Verizon Wireless Theatre. This non-profit event headlined some of Houston’s biggest acts such as From Guts to Glory along with international known headliners such as Saliva. Soon after, Vix became a part of I-10 Records in Houston as well as ETA, Vegas, officially being named the Executive Marketing Director/TMR for each company. “There is far more to accomplish and lots of learning and experience to gain. This is just the amazing opportunity to make my bubble dreams into a reality. This I aspire for not only myself, my family, and other women that want to become entrepreneurs, but mainly for my daughter. I want to be that woman that she looks up to not only as a mother, but as a successful woman”.

I did my first tattoo as an artist on January 2nd, 2008, after a short 3 month long apprenticeship. I won my first award for a black and gray piece tattooing at 4 months. I won my my first major award, 1st place Tattoo Of The Day tattooing at two years and one month. I have currently been tattooing for 3 and 1/2 years.. Art has always been my passion and I feel truly blessed that it has become my career and life. I specialize in portraits, realism, and new skool. I am collaborating some of my styles to create a style all my own referred to as 'Surrealism'. I am striving to be a house hold name and gain some recognition with my art.
