Great timing, I was told to expect an email today with the tenative schedule . As soon as I receive it, I'll get it posted.  I think it will have the whole lineup including 6th St.

I've got a fairly complete lineup.  I'll get it posted later tonight.  Right now I'm fighting dark thirty on some projects and my walk. :)

That was the first thing I noticed too Santos.   The one artist that so many of ya'll are anxious to see is at the very worst timing it could be.

Niel, I'm really disappointed about the timing of her performance.  Since I was told the schedule was tentative, I am hoping her timing might change.   As for the meet and greet, I don't know, there isn't a set time to be over...yet.  I'll give it some thought.  Lets see what happens with her schedule and go from there. :)

YES!!!!

Thank you so much ROT management!!!

Carolyn Wunderland has been moved to the opening act for BOC Thursday night on the Ampitheater Main Stage!!

Navasota Rio will be opening on Friday night for BS&T

They fixed the conflict of schedule with the Meet and Greet so her fans can enjoy both!

I'm so excited.

LOL Neil, YES, its true!!

I appreciate the kudos but all I did was send an email about the conflict of schedule and ask if possibly she could be moved to another night and mentioned how good she is and that maybe she could open on Fri or Sat instead.  I really didn't think it could be worked out.  Then I got an email that she had conflicts for other nights and the next thing I knew I got an email that she was opening for BOC Thursday!

This came about because the owner of ROT truly, honestly cares about those who come to ROT getting the best bang for their buck and leaving on Sunday feeling happy about the weekend.  They are good people.  And, as you and other old time posters know, they take care of the forum.  (That's why we find out all the announcements weeks earlier than the general public!)  I am truly impressed and overwhelmed that they adjusted her schedule to accomodate her fans that were torn between attending my Meet and Greet and her concert.

Plus, its great for her!  Opening for BOC is a pretty good gig.  Everybody wins in this situation.  I'm so happy!!.

Thanks a HEAP for the schedule, Spirit!  That's a huge help, helps you kinda plan what you're going to do.  I'm waiting to see where Omar appears on it.

I don't have that yet .. just double-checked the list ... but I discovered I had left off the 6th Street bands for Friday night.  Duh.  I've added them to the list.

Any chance they can replace some of the TBA showings with Ray Wilie Hubbard since he got cut short due to Tornadoe alley coming in...

I know you would also like to take one of the TBA's for REK!!!  Ask the ROT folks to get back to work, get our bands back!  Oh, and what is the Thunderdome?  some of the Paradise favorites are at the Thunderdome this year... where is that???  hahaha, can you tell I did not venture too far from perv row?!!!

The Thunderdome is the air conditioned area where the MMA fights were and the bike builders usually exhibit.

Some at the ROT may like the TBAs, others like REK. The TD has AC, but the PD is close to the SOBs.

OMG I M A text junkie now. WTF

LETS PARTY

really?  Is there floor seating, or do you have to sit up in the bleachers???  wow, do they rock out the whole venue, or is it like the cowboy bar, down on the end... and if you are not there you don't hear it too good.

I know, I will just check it out myself... but if anyone has seen a concert in the Thunderdome, can you let me know how it is?  Thanks.

I am guessing, but I'm thinking it will be bleacher seating only .... or standing on the floor in front of the stage.  I figure there will be a stage on one end so its visible from all areas.

why, oh why didn't they ask ME about the band scheduling lol??  don't they know how hard it is for an Austin, Texas music fan to choose between Carolyn Wonderland and Guy Forsyth??  this will be the hardest choice i have to make at ROT!!  they should have consulted me first!!  if i didn't have my kids the weekend before ROT, i would see Carolyn Wonderland at Antone's on Saturday, then see Guy Forsyth on Thursday after the M&G.  blasted kids lol!!

Sorry Mel, that would be my fault.  Carolyn was scheduled for 7:00 in the Thunderdome ... right in the middle of the M&G.  ROT mgmt moved her to BOC's opening act to not interfere with the Meet and Greet.  Maybe you can catch half of each set. :D
