Very few times have I felt the need or the desire to crowd myself into the ampitheatre for the music, and after the traffic stories I heard this year, I probably won't go next year....to the music that is....Street

I would go thru the worst traffic at ROT to see Skynard, Willie, ZZ Top or Rodney Carrington.

Who would you brave the traffic to see?

I hate to have to tell you this but Elvis is dead and buried.  Might not look good on stage.

I don't know anything about music or concerts but I suspect a concert ticket to most of the bands named on this thread would run $60 alone.

speaking of Hellyea! I saw them a couple of weeks ago at a bar in Tyler, I suggested to "the powers that be" that they would make a great addition to the lineup, we'll see, at this time "They" are gathered at The Eagles Nest in the "war room" making plans for next years ROT, I would have gone too but I didn't have that much time off.

It is the usual line up being requested as the last three years... ROT, please take some consideration....

I was one of the few thousands that walked out on Hank Jr. in 2009... got tired of being told I wasn't worth crap because I didn't attend as many NFL parties as he did... AND, if I wanted the entire band to go on a break while Hank Jr. played all his #1 hits most famous 15 seconds for 20 minutes.... I think I would have found it somewhere else.  Please don't bring him back.  Treat the folks at the ROT rally like that....

Here’s a thought that might help with the increasing number of younguns’ showing up on the parade route: Put some of the ‘younger crowd’ bands on a couple nights (like Hinder or Buckcherry or Saving Abel) and maybe the 18-20 year olds will go there and stay off the parade route! Still voting for Jimmy Buffet…maybe if we spill some oil on the ground, he’ll come and play for (almost) free like he did in Alabama? Rocket (Where'd the option to change fonts go????)
