Very few times have I felt the need or the desire to crowd myself into the ampitheatre for the music, and after the traffic stories I heard this year, I probably won't go next year....to the music that is....Street

I would go thru the worst traffic at ROT to see Skynard, Willie, ZZ Top or Rodney Carrington.
Who would you brave the traffic to see?

Hmmm...... I guess I'd brave the traffic to see ELVIS!!

Bebop
I hate to have to tell you this but Elvis is dead and buried. Might not look good on stage.

I don't know anything about music or concerts but I suspect a concert ticket to most of the bands named on this thread would run $60 alone.

Hey, I have got it.........Listen close ROT planners.....we need concerts all three nights, Thursday night, ZZ Top, Friday night Rodney Carrington opening for Skynard, and Saturday night, Kid Rock and Hank Jr., well, yall can mix and match Thursday and Friday night, but Hank and Kid Rock on same stage Saturday night.................now thats a Party!!!!!!

speaking of Hellyea! I saw them a couple of weeks ago at a bar in Tyler, I suggested to "the powers that be" that they would make a great addition to the lineup, we'll see, at this time "They" are gathered at The Eagles Nest in the "war room" making plans for next years ROT, I would have gone too but I didn't have that much time off.

uhhhh.... hank jr? did you see something entertaining at the 2009 show?
Posted: 09/20/2010 04:18 PM
George Thorogood , ted nugent, thursday and saturday and some country on friday

It is the usual line up being requested as the last three years... ROT, please take some consideration....
I was one of the few thousands that walked out on Hank Jr. in 2009... got tired of being told I wasn't worth crap because I didn't attend as many NFL parties as he did... AND, if I wanted the entire band to go on a break while Hank Jr. played all his #1 hits most famous 15 seconds for 20 minutes.... I think I would have found it somewhere else. Please don't bring him back. Treat the folks at the ROT rally like that....
