I just found out Sat. night's headliner!!  Oh my, there will be no complaints from the ranks this year.  That much I can tell you. 

 

I can post the name a few days after Christmas.

The Eagles 40th Anniversary

For forty years The Eagles have been recording epic songs and touring the world to bring those songs to fans everywhere. Now, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Glen Frey and Tim Schmit are getting together for a special Eagles 40th anniversary tour in 2012 to celebrate.



So...maybe it will be the "Hotel Cali-ROT Rally" this summer.  Bet THAT would silence all the complaints about carts.  Then again, some of those who already pulled the 'cancel my spot' trigger might be regretting that early decision.  To me, it is worth waiting for that belated Christmas present from Spirit in the form of the headliner announcement.....

I don't think it has anything to do with ROT's desires .... Skynyrd is on a European tour during that time period.  Don't think they'd be willing to fly back to the US ... Austin, Texas specifically ... for one night.  :)

You're right I guess I'm just mad I shouldn't take it out on the staff I hope they come up with a compromise that everybody will like on the golf carts Maybe Skynyrd Can play next year

when will ROT release Sat nights headliner?      

Dec. 28th I will post who is headlining Saturday night.  That is when the headliner will release the info to their fans ... and ROT can release it to their attendees.  :D

i'm hoping the headliners keep me awake this year, i was very dissappointed with hank Jr and the doobiebrothers. personal opinion is their music was too mellow for the ROT.

I have never heard "mellow" used when describing Sat. night's act. :)  And Neil, they/he/she are NOT country.

by the way, group bambam will be going to the ROT,. i've  been trying to convince the better half  for years to buy a cart, no better reason then now

Well...it is not The Boss & The E-Street....they are in Spain next June. So, while Mamma cooks Christmas Dinner, I'll have to keep thinkin' of non-mellow, non-country bands that a LOT of us like....
