St. Holmes was hired and the band of Ted Nugent with Derek St. Holmes, former Amboy Dukes bassist Rob Grange and Cliff Davies, later changed to be known as The Ted Nugent Band was launched and started immediately on an extensive U.S. tour. Traveling and performing nearly 300 days a year, they played with other popular bands, such as Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Van Halen and Black Sabbath among other greats. In 1975, at only 22 years of age, St. Holmes found himself traveling the world and playing to sold out audiences in U.S. and European cities. He remained in Nugent's band until 1978.

If you're a Nugent fan, you should know that all the hits Ted had, it was Derek on Vocals and he wrote or co-wrote all the hits; ie: Stranglehold, Hey Baby!, etc.

Too bad! They get some one to play that I would really go see and they have all ready turned me off with the whole cart thing. Well every one who does attend can enjoy it.

Maybe that NRA button should stand for "NEW RALLY ALTERNATIVE"

Kickshot, a bad taste can ruin the whole plate if you aren't careful.  Please reconsider and think about it before you take a "not going" attitude.  I look forward to seeing you every year!!  And yes, they DID get a great Saturday night headliner, didn't they?  I don't even listen to rock and I still think Ted's da man! :D

The only child of country singers Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter Shooter Jennings lived his first few years in a crib on his parents' tour bus. By age five, he was playing drums. At 8 years old, he took piano lessons. He started playing guitar at fourteen and sometimes played percussion in his father's band.

That's a mis-type.  It should be Thursday's headliner. :)

Ted's selling tickets and VIP passes at ROT to the tune of $410.00.  Gonna be some disapointed people that walk up to registration with a $410.00 paper ticket and ROT wont let thenm in.

As I recall, ROT sold VIP Passes to previous concerts for which the purchaser got to meet the artist back stage, got special seats up close, and got other 'keep sakes' for the price.  The 'fun' will come if/when ROT announces a VIP ticket that is cheaper than Uncle Ted's $400+ price.  And given that we know this is a problem, I'm betting they already have something figured out!

Now that I'm over my actual fever, I'm ready for the Cat Scratch variety!

Is it ROT-Time yet???
