Anyone know what's going on around town. We are coming in to Austin but have no plans to go to the actual rally, we've been before. Not a big drinker and that seems to be the main attraction.

I understand that in the forum for rides there is one for b=b=q (saltlick ,Lockhart, Luling and Taylor ). Also a possible ride east towards brenham or so. I like to ride cr 306 (devils backbone towards new braunfels bac k around to wimberly and manchaca. All around the austin area (50-100 miles). Dont think i wanna go to hippie hollow ride... to much skin forme. Check the suggested rides forum. I did here ther ewas a ride with DeeSnider for march of dimes but i can not find any info about it...Let you know if i do...

We are coming up from the NE side of Htown on Friday. Wish ROT sold a one day pass at a reduced rate, would love to check out the vendors and see the bikes on display, We enjoy the excitement all over the city, the actual rally not so much. I always thought I was pretty open minded but after attending one year realized not so much. LOL! Not judging, I say live and let live. We usually spend most of Saturday riding the back roads west of Austin then we try to find a fun place in Austin to eat and enjoy a few beers and maybe some music (we take a taxi). Hope you guys have a great and SAFE time.
