Just wondered if Austin has any dueling piano bars? They are so much fun. The things women do when the get on a stage...

Pete's on 6th Street. Went there during ROT 05 and had a great time!

Pete's Piano bar on 6th street close to dirty dog bar and coyote ugly. Petes piano great place LOTS of fun!!!!!!!

Why do you say that? I've never been there but I have heard people give it pretty good reviews so I am curious what you didn't like about it.

Absolutely dead both times I have been in it, while pete's was packed and had a blast, also on the other side of Coyote ugly, Dirty Dog was packed plus Coyotes drinks were quite a bit more than both those places. I'm sorry a 7 & 7 is just that, a call drink Segrams 7 with 7 up. so why was it more for the same drink, franchise?

I have to agree. Went to Coyote ugly last year. It was full, but not much going on, people standing around talking, and the entertainment was not that attractive in my opinion. Petes is awesome. I thought my friend was nuts when he said we were going to a piano bar. Almost questioned his orientation for a minute, but I was wrong. Best Bar I have ever been in...

love piano bar sing-a-longs! i did a mean Tina Turner "Rollin' On the River" , complete with wig and pony step, in Austin during a teacher's convention and earned a Pete's bumper sticker BUT couldn't put it on the family van cuz hubby was pissed i went out and made a fool of myself lol!.....ONE OF MANY REASONS HE'S MY X-HUBBY!! BUT I won't be leaving ROT grounds once I get there...

i'd love to go but i just can't imagine which night i would give up at ROT for a piano sing-a-long.....i can sing topless at ROT every night lol!!

I got to say that during ROT there isn't any bar, even a strip club, that I would leave the grounds for but I was kinda thinking about a run to Coyote Ugly sometime but I may just put that idea on hold.
Mel you can come sing topless at our camp anytime you want. ;)

Just make sure I'm not the b!@#$ that falls off after a few pitchers at the bar lol!! That could be a Saturday night music alternative but only 'til the final parade starts rockin!.....

Hi I'm Top Bebop. This is a special paint and has to be applied exactly right for this to work. Just sit right here young lady and I will take care of everything. Is there any other kind of print you would like to leave, I can paint that for you as well. If you BF or Ol man has a problem with where my hands have been just tell him to come see Bebop.
Just for practice.
