Please join us in mourning the loss of our dear son, brother and uncle, Lester Thomas Quisenberry, who died early this morning while coming home on his beloved Harley. Les had many friends from all walks of life. He lived his whole life in Austin, where he worked in commercial construction until recently. Les had a great, ironic sense of humor and loved to laugh. He never complained about the bumps in the road, never asked anything of anyone except to be respectful of his choices. Having his Harley these last few years was a dream come true for him and, though we are broken hearted today, we are grateful no one else was injured in the accident and that he did not suffer.
A memorial service is planned here in Austin or Dripping Springs. His family asks for your thoughts and prayers, and that you be safe this weekend.
Messages of condolence may be sent to his family at: sureshot@austin.rr.com
Long may he ride!

I too, am very sorry for your loss. I stopped at a toll booth on TX 130 on my way out of Austin, and the toll booth operator told me about a rider who was killed the night before at that very booth by a drunk driver. I don't know the rider who was killed, but I thought about him and his family all the way back to Princeton.
