Hicups, so sorry the Apple Pie bit you! I tried to remind everyone that it is not really a shot. More a sip-n-savor kind of drink.
We got home without any blow-outs or anything this afternoon...a record for our large group!
Enjoyed meeting so many forum folks and especially getting to party with my fellow Superhuman Funsuckers from the Rally Riders!
We've unloaded all our stuff out of the rv. I've showered and am ready to go to bed....why am I not sleepy? Oh...maybe because I slept all the way home!
Back to the real world!

Man, I do not know how some of you guys and girls do it. My short 30 mile trip home seems to take forever! ;)
Shower and a nap in a real bed sure felt good.

Got in late and didnt make it to the m&g that sucked but I hadnt had much time to post alot and get to know to many so next year will be great after a year of posting and reading. Still for the life of me never saw purple c 3and4 but owell m&g was over. Because of strong recommendations we stuck around and didnt do the 6th street party we paraded and watched and paraded. Thanks for the advice we had a blast. Sorry I didnt get to actually meet everyone. Maybe I did and didnt know it. My girlfriend had the white and black airbrush pretendakini. It was amazing how many people were waiting for her to show em for beeds and didnt realze they were looking at em. reactions were priceless. any how back in kansas in time for tornado warnings and 60mph winds. Miss Austin already. I know I cant wait to see yall next year. whos got the count down for 2011 rally???

We made it home safe and sound ... as did Tom, Lisa & Clark. I am SO tired!! Sleep is calling. I got all the gotta have's out of the RV .. the rest will wait till tomorrow. I'm too dang old to watch the sun come up every morning ... but I did it by gosh a mighty! lol
Had a blast!! Enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new members - and the dozens of lurkers who stopped by to introduce themselves.
For those who missed the M&G - you missed an enjoyable time. I'd really appreciate anyone that took pics sending me copies. Also, if Tim and I wound up in front of your lense ... I'd like copies of those also.
Looking forward to ROT 2011!!!

Home again, Home again, jiggety jig!
What a PARTY!!
From the WETNIPPLE to the packing up on Sunday morning, all was good.
Missed seeing some people from my past, maybe it was a sign, but enjoyed meeting many new peeps.
Tadpole and the lovely Janet, really enjoyed our time together. Decided against the doo rag, figured I could look like that with a little gel!

My wife has fell in love with Apple Pie and the Chocolate Vodka Cherry's. Would anyone want to share the apple pie recipe??? After this weekend she will be staying away from the Tequila Rose for a while, looking for something new...
Posted: 06/14/2010 12:25 PM
Ronnigirl doesn't share her recipe. :) She went online, got several recipes, tried them all, then made adjustments to get her famous recipe that she guards with her life. :D
Posted: 06/14/2010 12:27 PM
Street,
great time, remember that when using your new gel you must use the same formula as Tadpole & myself.
Refer to the movie (Something about Mary) for the recipe.
Got home yesterday about noon

Well here's my trip back: We left Austin round 10:30 after a great breakfast at Jim's on 183. I'm on my bike and Melody and Lucy are following me in my pickup which is pulling the trailer with Kris's bike in it (her and Ray went on his bike to Ft. Worth for the night). My neck usually knots up after a lot of riding, so after a few hours during a pit stop I have Melody give me a muscle relaxer, they're pretty mild and I have a very high tolerance on any kind of things like that. I usually don't feel anything from them. What I failed to realize is I still had A SH!T LOAD of booze in my system from the night before. About 30 minutes later I'm in a deep fog and feeling very dizzy, luckily we're coming up on Hamilton. I pull over there and tell them I'm getting very sleepy. They said I was also slurring my words and couldn't walk straight. It made me drunk all over again, lol. So I park the bike and get in the pickup and we go to the park so I can lay down on a bench or something and get some sleep but nooooo, there just happens to a freaking family reunion going on there with no place to park or even sit down. So we drive round some more til we can find a shade tree to pull under that's out of the way. We sleep for about an hour but Lucy is needing to get home and so does Melody cuz her daughter is going to be home. I'm not in much better shape than I was so I tell her to take me back to my bike and they follow me to a roach motel where I get a room and tell them to leave. Unfortunately my phone was also bout dead cuz mine and Scooter's chargers got switched so I was SOL. After a couple more hours of sleep I was feeling better, so I grabbed a cheeseburger, shot a five hour and put the hammer down. I rolled into Melody's place a little after 9 to a very emotional, worried and guilt ridden woman. I won't make that mistake again.
Other than that, had a great time. LOL
This was probably the funnest ROT so far for me and thats because of all my ROT buddies, old and new. Kings and Lefty and Bebop, thanks for the hospitality and leading us on some great rides, I cant wait to ride the roller coaster again.
Hiccups and USMC, great to meet you guys and you're welcome ride anytime with us. Plan on coming down to the Safari or Sparks.
