Hey Everyone!  So looking forward to ROT 2010 (as is everyone) and meeting several of you in person.  The "Official Countdown" clock on the Home Page is just about sending me into a frenzy!!!  I have it parked on my  double monitor so when things get a little hectic I look over at it and go to "Happy Land".    Since I  have just been a voyeur of the forum since the beginning of the year, I figured it was time to join in on the fun.  The 1st week in January we bought a Toy Hauler and the guy who got us set up had suggested taking it to ROT and said it was a great rally and alot of fun to be had there.  He talked it up so good we had to see what the fuss was about so we started doing a little reseach online and came across the the original Forum and found a lot of valuable info.  (Man am I glad that stuff was up there for a while)   Since Randy and I are newbees to rallies alot of the stuff we read was very helpful advice and quite a bit of it comical!   The most important piece of advice came from Spirit.   Spirit, had you not had instructions on the forum of how to get an RV spot we would have more than likely missed out.   "Thank You, Thank You, Thank You" for making sure we were informed so that we could get our prime piece of ROT real estate (Orange C148).     We are looking forward to stopping by the Meet & Great and also hanging out with the group out by the Paradise Bar, especially you Miss Mel.  If we didn't have Spirit and Mel some of us for sure would be at a loss.       37 Days  18 Hours 52 Minutes  19 Seconds 18 Seconds 17 Seconds..... Oh my God... It just won't get here fast enough!    Party, Party, Party!!!!

Yes, the forum is a great place to start when getting ready for ROT.  I actually start my count down the Sunday that I return home from ROT. 

Funny how time flies when you think about the happy times.  LOL

this is the first year for us to stay at the campgrounds,  been attending since 2002 but staying at a hotel.  The forums and Spirit was a big help.  I cant wait to met everyone at the met and greet.  Talked the hubby into buying me a party buggy for the rally so that we can do it right.  Thanks to everyone for making us feel welcomed.     Kawagirl.

Kawagirl,

You won't regret staying on site.  You can party and not worry about having to get on the road.  It is a lot safer.
