If you are new to the board or new to ROT, take a minute and introduce yourself.  We have a friendly group here....you'll find this is a great way to make friends and meet people before the rally arrives!

At first I thought this thread was for NEW forum members...now I'm thinking there are 13 steps and counting days involved.  OK...maybe just the counting days! Cool

Well...I'm Rocket and I'm a ROT addict.  It's been 157 days since my last ROT fix.  And I can tell you with almost certainty that I'll fall off the ROT sobriety wagon in about 203 days.  Just prop me up next to the parade route Sealed

And since I'm the lower Alabama (Florida panhandle) representative for BRA (Bored ROT Addicts), I'm inviting all other BRAs to join us for Bikeweek-Daytona in March for a pre-ROT (weather permitting) warm up with the Daytona BRA chapter.

well here it goes, I attended my first rally this past summer at the ROT i figure u gonna do something do it big do it right, so i showed up at the ROT and let me tell u i had a blast   was able to find some much needed stuf for my sled,  including a biger seat for the wife.   I ride a 750shadow spirit  with some modifications to it , so the wife eventually can ride the bike once i get a biger sled. Foot in mouth

My name is Edwin Earl Sellers. I was given that name on an early June morning forty-four years ago. I have been called many

names (I currently prefer Ed). Ed, musician, Earl, disc jockey, Eddie, salesman, husband, father, and friend. There are others,

but I feel that they might not be the most appropriate verbiage in this setting. The names I have earned over the last

decade have been the nicest. I guess that as I have aged; I’ve gotten a little nicer too. I don’t ride the motorcycles built for

speed any more. I ride a Jade Green and Ivory '98 Honda VT1100 A.C.E. Tourer. I would actually like to be able to stay home;

if it weren’t for that darn nuisance named debt. I have 2 dogs, a truck, a car, a motorcycle, a job (not a great job), a lovely

wife, and son, and nephew. I went to college right out of high school. I had a full scholarship for vocal performance and I

was going to be a star! But alas, even stars have to go to class if they want to last longer than two semesters (which I

didn’t and I didn’t). Thus began my Naval career. I served four years and then began my search for a wife. I am now joyously

stuck on wife number three, “third time’s a charm”. My desire is to gather knowledge, get a better (paying) position in the

workforce, and retire in twenty-one years to travel the world on my motorcycle and live happily until unbearable pain grips

any part of my earthly body; then, we shall see what my mood is.

Well, I guess it's my turn. Haven't been on the board for a while. I'm  Daniel (Airdog22) from San Angelo.

This with be our 9th ROT this coming year. Airdog comes from the USAF and the 22 is the number of years

served active duty. Msgt. retired and enjoying life.

After every ROT, I always feel like I'm done with that, lookin for something else, but around this time of

year, I start getting the ROT itch. I guess I'm a ROT junkie and needing another fix.....

Anyway, welcome all the newbies to the ROT forums, lots to see and learn from past experiences.

I'm not going to say that I'll make Spirit's M&G this year.... everytime I say I'll be there, I never make it.

Let's just say, we'll see........Cool

Hello, we are D-Dub and T-Taw.  We've never been to ROT or any other rally yet.  I came to the ROT rally website to find the date for 2011 and ended up signing up for this... lol

I'm not sure I'm doing this right or not, so don't bite my head off if it's wrong.

I tried the friend finder section, but it was more of a members section.  I could not see where one could narrow the field down to certain criteria like location or gender or anything.

I want to make friends with other bikers that live near us, so we can maybe get together face to face and do some riding.

Am I missing the filter on the friend finder section?

Anyways, we live near fort worth, TX and simply love riding.  We both have our own bikes and ride with different ppl from work and from Meetup.com, but aren't in any clubs.  I'm a member of WoW, Women On Wheels.

We both work the graveyard shift, enjoy riding.

Anything else, send a friend request and we can chit chat more.

Thanx, T-Taw

TexasBagger here- a return ROT addict.  This will only be my 3rd years as a ROTn member.  The first year we camped on the parade route with some friends and had a blast.  The second year we brought the camper and partied in the purple lot.  Well we passed out in the purple lot and we partied the whole grounds area.  This year we are back in the purple RV lot if I get off my lazy ass and go ahead and check out after this message.  I've been riding off and on since 16 due to military and lack of money once I left the nest.  I got back into it a couple of years ago and I consider it my therapy.  Nothing like wind in your face.  Well boobs are good and ROTn boobs there are plenty.

My wife just got her license a couple of months ago and we are searching for the right scooter for her right now.

I started making my check list lastnight of things to bring and what rides we want to do this year.  The people we have met over the last two years have been phenominal.  From the weekend warrior to the daily riders.  All great attitudes and like minded.  We're all here to have a great time.

Take some time to get to know the regulars of this board and if you have any questions throw it out there.  These people are great and will lead you in the right direction.  "The cooler is right there. Help yourself"

That was an issue for a while, but it supposed to be corrected.  Try clearing your temporary internet files (if you need help and use IE I can help you) and see if that fixes the problem.  If not, I'll let IT know your having problems.

Anyone else having this issue?

Did it allow you to enter some photos, then shut down?  Or have you not been able to make an album at all?
