So here they are. I was at the Rock N Rev concert Series with
Guns N Roses
Godsmack
Alice In Chains
Stone Temple Pilots
and more.
Was there for about two weeks building the site, the stage and then staying to do the in and out on all the production.
Didn't get much sleep but made some money and as always had a ton of fun. Plus we let them know that us Texas boys were in the house and the locals were super cool to us. Got invited to a few places in Sturgis while I was there but as usual I was stuck on my own compund doing work. The free time that we did have was sporadic and usually involved some sport drinkin' of some sort. There was a huge go go dancer club right next to us called Monkey Rock and it was like heaven. They had flown and bussed in hot dancer girls from all over the us to work there during the rally!
The company I work for got the contract for the next five years at Sturgis and there is talks about Daytona in February. We will have to see on that one though. If there is anyone on this forum going to be in Sturgis this year you should holler and hopefully I can have you out one night as a guest to one of the concerts.
Well enough blabbin' lets get to the pictures and videos.

Sport drinkin' with my buddy Mark on his birthday at our compund
Life was good. This was my only whole day off and I didn't feel like going far so I wandered directly across the street to the Full Throttle Saloon.
Home sweet home. We were camoing but a really bad storm had it's way with my tent and so the company charged me 200 bucks and hooked me up with this. It was well worth the 200 bucks considering the hours we were working and the fact that now I had a cold bunk to sleep in and a refridgerator, microwave etc...

Hope you enjoyed the pics and videos.

Thanks man. It was fun. What is your website? Will you be at Sturgis next year?

Really not sure on sturgis 2011, but will definantly will be doing ROT this year, even if I have to quit job to make it. We stayed at one of the campgrounds that was north of the Chip this year, and was held captive by the traffic. If I go next year I will be staying south of interstate.

Were you staying at Glencoe? I was there too but never had to deal with traffick because we had a back gate to our venue. Traffick is outta control downtown in Sturgis with stop signs every 50 yards.

It wasn't glencoe, it was about4 miles out past the buffalo chip, I think it was Willow creek or something like that. It had areal nice bar/ dance hall right there. the problem was when we wanted to go to any of the turist traps like rushmore and had to drive back threw sturgis---- three hours it took me to push my bike through once. my bike got so darn hot it just shut down. boy, ain't that fun.

Yeah, that sounds like it sucked. I always wondered that about all rallies how peoples bikes don't overheat all the time.

Was it because of all the golf carts that the traffic was slow? They must have a ton in downtown Sturgis if traffic was that slow!!
(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

I had to share with someone------ If you go to RV reservations and look at the motorhome with the flags on it, omg that was our party central last year. And that's Danny, Darrel and Darrels sweetie in front of it. I guess I was somewhere sobering up.
