Alright, its time to start thinking about what to bring and what to leave behind.  There is a list on the website to get us started but there are other essentials that may have been left off.  Here's the list .......

  1. Tickets, confirmations, reservations, etc.
  2. Sun screen and sun block
  3. Camera
  4. Light colored clothing – cooler than dark colors
  5. Lot of Water
  6. Bandana that you can wet down and put around your neck to help cool you down
  7. Extra set of keys to bike, locks, trailer, etc.
  8. Driver’s license, credit cards, cash
  9. Hat, doo rag, cap, visor
  10. Proof of Insurance
  11. Cell Phone and phone charger
  12. Ant Killer if you are camping
  13. Bug/Mosquito killer

What do we need to add to it?  For me its.......

Parrot Bay Coconut Rum

I'm Bananas Over You

Bud Light Lime

Pool

Lawn Chairs

Shisk Kabob fixin's

Guest Book for the Meet and Greet

Thanks for the mention of battieries, cooked the house batteries over the winter somehow so put the almost new cart deep cycle in and noticed that I actually have room for another! So, going to buy two new deep cycles for the cart and RV. And can you say "watch your charging rate from now on?....lol

    1. top off all propaine bottles

    2. verify credit cards are not maxed out

    3. check bike tires, look for drywall cracks

    4. check oil levels in bikes, remember bikes with low oil overheat faster.

Spirit, good tip on the wet bandana. We got wet towels at a golf tournament one time and it made a BIG difference in keeping cool.
