Things have been quiet in here the past few days. We have gotten really, really busy and I haven't been able to check in much but beginning Tuesday, I'll be back posting more. I hope. (Kind of a double edged sword - I want to post more, but busy means money in the bank! lol) Going to visit my 96 yr old Grandma this weekend. Leaving tomorrow and coming back Monday.
When I get back, I'm going to start pursuing donations for the Meet and Greet ... and bagging up some beads to give away as prizes again. Those seemed to really go over well last year. My days of collecting have pretty well passed, but I have lots to recycle. lol
Looks to be a gorgeous weekend here on the coast .... I'm going to miss getting to ride. Hope everyone else has blue skies and gets an opportunity to get in the wind.

As far as getting in the wind, all I have to do is stand outside! It's been blowing @30mph daily for the last 6 days!

I can donate beads, I just have to get all the ones Tammy got last year!!!! Had to cut them off her neck Thurs-Sunday morning Thanks GUYs for hooking a brother up!!

The rally is starting to be a everyday thought now so its time I guess to be more active on the forum.
I will post my location as soon as a secure a spot, 7 years and 7 different locations! I am on the RV wait list??? Any help would be great. Each year it always seems to work out, If there are as many empty rv spots as last year I should not have a problem!

I am from Shreveport, LA. I will be glad to donate mardi gras beads.My friends from Shreveport won the Rot art contest would like to bring them by the meet and greet if thats o.k. It will be there 2nd year at the rally.

Sleazy, so glad you have net access again!! You've been missed. :)
As to stuff to bring. Life has gotten way too busy lately and my ability to procure prizes has been greatly reduced. So I think there will just be one big door prize this year ... and then bags of beads. Gonna do the same thing this year .... one red, 15 blue and 15 white....draw a blue you get beads, draw red - big prize (note to self, pm Nat), white ... glad you came enjoy yourself. :D
Just going to approach the Bud Light guy about sponsoring the party again this year. He is such a sweetheart and always so willing to help out. And yes, Ed, I will remind him that more Bud Light Lime would be appreciated. :)
If everyone at least brings enough beverage to cover their own needs ... plus a little to share if you'd like ... I think we'll have all we need. Easter taught me that not so grandiose can actually be a better thing. So I figured it would be best to just follow the KISS principle. (Keep It Simple, Stupid!) Afterall, a Meet and Greet is to Meet new friends and Greet those we haven't seen in way too long. I can't WAIT!!! I'm so looking forward to seeing all ya'll!!

Go to the section you want to start the topic in, look on the left side of the page - about half way down - and you see the Start New Topic "button".

On the left side of the screen under where it says ROT Hotels it says options. It says "new topic" or something like that. They don't make it very easy to find. I wish they could redo these boards to make them more user freindly, we don't have near the posters on here that we used to have and that's probably why.
