Spirit, someone just told me there was a bill/law that was coming up to control and/or crack down on nudity at ROT. Anyone heard anything about this?

Ran into a friend in Shreveport today and he said the law passed today, Monday, January 1.

Does anyone have any info on this new law?

All I found was a law that passed about $5.00 per person stipper pole charge in the bars, lol.

Edit...just sent a e-mail to a friend.  Hope to hear back from them tomorow.

 

 

A) Nudity is and always has been illegal at ROT.

B) Going topless is legal in Texas and has been since 1976.

C) The cops at ROT will tell those in less than a g-string to cover up.

 

I haven't heard about the new law but I'll see what I can find out. Unless Austin has passed a law banning women going topless - and I seriously doubt that - it really won't have an effect on ROT. Now if TexDeb is right and they have a fee on stripper poles, that might affect a few camps if the law applies to private property.

I'll see what I can find out. :)

From what I understand the pole tax only applys to strip clubs.  Just another way to get more taxes $$$.

Hell yeah, I couldn't agree more. This is Texas and nudity needs to be legalized, it's too damn hot for women to have to suffer with wearing clothes. Show em if want!!!
