Bastrop and South Austin got hit by a tornado early this morning. My heart goes out to them. They havent even got over the fires yet. Flooding is bad in South Austin, Bastrop, Elgin, Cedar Creek and Manor. Homes got destoyed, news said some are sleeping in their cars in their driveway trying to protect what property they have left. I live on the other side of Austin. I woke up, felt the trailer moving around some, saw lighting and heard major thunder that made the ground shake for minuts so I rolled down the power antenna, stayed up for a while till it passed over then went back to bed and thought nothing more of it till I watched the news tonight. I guess I got lucky. They need prayers right now and a lot of them.

That's terrible. Those people have been through so much in such a short period. I will pray for them.

 Those poor people need a break. Hopefully all will turn out for the best. Prayers go out for them all.

 

I just now saw this and my heart lurched.  Those poor people have suffered enough.  There has been some NASTY weather everywhere lately.  Thank the good Lord we've been spared, we've had lots and lots of rain but slowly with no storms at all.  We keep thinking the river is gonna rise due to the rain up river, but so far it hasn't and we have been spared that headache also.
