Now that ROT is becoming more of a reality than a talked about ... we seem to have some new members on here. Rather than posting on last years thread ... lets start a new one.
Who all is new .... and who just can't wait for ROT to get here. (We all know us oldtimers are gonna be posting too. lol)
Btw, my name is Spirit. I am a ROT addict. This will be my 8th ROT. I'm the chatterbox of the board and serve as the forum moderator. If you have any questions and can't find an answer already posted, ask away. Either myself of someone who has been enough times to know the answer, will let you know.

We can't wait! Last year was our first and while a lot of the people we met last year won't be going this year, we are still looking forward to having an awesome time. Getting there bright and early Wednesday morning and will be cruising the grounds and socializing shortly there after!

Wife ( Chelle) and I will hopefully make it in EARLY weds. morning and since I'm such a pro at setting up camp we'll be hopping about in 30 minutes or less..... LMAO... don't I wish! But seriously if anyone needs help or maybe forgot something small and simple, look me up, ya never know what might be hidden beneath behind the walls. Let's make this one of the best rallys ever.

What is going to seem strange THIS year is not seeing some of my friends that I just expect to be there. Its going to feel like ROT used to before I became Mod and got to know so many people.
The first three years we made the rally the only person we fully recognized year to year was the guy on the corner in Purple A that used to come in with the big buses, tents and smokers. Other than Chip, every year was a new experience of meeting new people and hoping for good neighbors ... which they all were. Some were friendlier than others, but we've never had a bad neighbor at ROT. :D

Howdy y'all! Jerri and I ARE going, and we can't wait to hold up a drink to all that can't make it this year, and meet up with the one's that do come in! Then to meet the new friends will be a blast!
Our commute from the Atlantic ocean shores of Cocoa Beach Florida is over... we now live about 18 miles north of the ROT Rally grounds... so that will be very different, not being dog axx tired when we get there!
Yes, the camper will be behind the bike again! Just because we live close does NOT mean we won't be staying out there in the camper land! The Palace will be up and running, and unlike all of your RV'ers... it takes about 30 seconds to set it up... but another hour to put it all in place!
Since the FUB won't be there... where will we do the midnight toast this year? .....is anyone willing to step in and spell Bebop and the FUB this year?
TO ALL:.... get ready, it will be another good one!
Spirit: remember when you talked me into coming??? Well, Monster will just be getting home when we go to ROT this year! READY to party!

I didn't count the 15 minutes of trying to back the damn thing in. LOL After that it's all pretty easy for me. Someday I'll learn to back a fifth wheel till then... hope I have some extra room to maneuver a little.[/quote]
I think it takes 15 min to holler at his wife to help back it in...lol then start backing it in..
pull through needed lol love ya baby

I keep telling ya anytime you wanna try backing it up, I'll gladly sit back and watch. I know when something kicks my tail but I am getting better each time I gotta do it. Maybe we'll get lucky and beat everyone back to our spot so I can pull through. LOL
