BP, if I got it right, your first choice would be for your friends to get a Green parade spot near yours; and second choice is to move from your current green A-6 parade spot to somewhere near them. Is that right? Here's our past experience. I had Purple E-25 on the parade route from renewal, and was fortunate to get Purple C-37 on the subsequent Jan open sales. We kept both parade route spots, parking our Hobbi on C-37, and a rental on E-25 in '10 for our son and several other friends. That turned out to be a waste since we all congregated at C-37 which was our 'main' spot only using the other for those guys to sleep. Since you already have the parade route spot with A-6/Green, I'd keep that and see if your friends can get closer to you. If they don't, even the other side of green isn't that far and they might like the option for a place with more 'quiet' to complement the party scene at your spot. That's what we have now with our group...my ROT 'n C-37 is the party spot' and the B-36 & 37 are the spots to retreat to when needed. Either way, Val will work With you to get it right. Rockett

BP, Rocket is correct on the "retreat time" !!!  I love my purple c-6 lot.  Just a short walk to the parade route with a lawn chair, but when I want some time to myself its just as short of walk back to the RV.  4 days of nonstop action and noise right outside your front door can get a little over whelming  not to mention cleaning up all the empty beer cans and trash on your lot every morning, lol.

I agree, keep a retreat spot if possible. I'm on the parade route next to the huge stripper flatbed with the live dj! and i here and feel the action 5 days after the rally. Kind of like being on a boat for days, you get off and feel you are still moving. Rocket I need retreat with you guys a little more this year.

That's funny but true Todd, I hear rumble for days after I get home lol.  After I get home and the home AC cuts off I run around in a panic thinking its broke b/c there is no noise but not until I get done playing with the real live flush toilet, lomfao!  RV toilets aint all their are cracked up to be.

I know after 8 you cant drive through the rally so if you look at the 2011 map on here there is free auto parking and shuttle  in the parking lot by green, so dose that mean after 8 some one can pull there car there and park and would they be coming in through gate 2 ? If thats not correct cn some one lead me in the right direction just wondering
