We (me and Eric) haven't been around ROT or the fourm in the last few years. Farm life and goats make it where we can't go far unless its a goat show. We have been talking about ROT a lot lately and I figured I would say hello to all of our buddies and all the SOBs. Mel if you see this hi sugar bean. Well better get off the computer and go milk my goats.

Hopefully we will be able to go to ROT again. Maybe next year.

Donna, it is SO good to see you check in!!  It would be great to see ya'll at ROT if ya'll can make it.  The SOB's are still camping together, but Mel is in school and with a guy that doesnt rally so she didn't make it last year and won't be there this year.  Yeah, I know, doesn't sound like Mel, doesn it? lol

We actually don't live in Texas. We live in Oklahoma. Goat milk is AWESOME!!! Don't try it out of the can at the store... that stuff is horrible lol. Spirit I cannot picture Mel not being at ROT. We miss it so much. Once we find someone I can trust to milk without messing up my show girls udders we will be there again.

Not off hand sorry. I can ask around and find someone though. Or you can go to www.homesteadingtoday.com/goats/ and ask there. I know there is a few people from Texas who has milkers.

Well, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would ever hear anyone else say that phrase besides myself! And I hadn't said it in a lot of years.  I grew up raising goats, and always kinda miss them. We also drank the milk... that's what I grew up on. Well maybe someday I will to get to meet you guys!
