This thread is designed to give ya’ll helpful info and save my fingers from overtyping. :)  The site if fairly new and we are all learning to use it together.  I’ll use this thread to post answers to FAQ’s and provide updates as I get them.  Please check here often - now that rally is getting close, I’ll be making frequent updates.

Just as a reminder, Wall post are public and everyone can view them.  If you want to send a private message, go to your inbox and compose it from there.

Photos must be PG-13.

If your profile is set to private no one can access your Wall.  You can't recieve messages or recieve friends requests.  (I do not accept friends request from private accounts.)

Points are based on your site activity, not just forum posts.  The current point system -- and it might possibly change -- is Right now 0-99 points = Rookie, 100-499 = Bagger, 500-1499= Tail Gunner, 1500-2999= Rocker, & 3000+ = Bad Ass. 

Friend Finder search is currently inoperable.

You need to change the number of friends shown to see everyone on your Friends List.  If you have more than 200 for now, you’re just SOL.  But they are aware of the fact you can only see Pg. 1. 

They are also aware that you cannot see page two of your Wall.

Since this is a new site there isn't the wealth of info the old site had.  You can still visit over there, just don't post. http://rotrally.websitetoolbox.com/

Images must be on the net to be inserted into post.  To insert an image, click on the little tree icon.  It will open a window, insert the URL, title it, click insert.  That's it.

Profile & Avatar images are entered seperately.  Even if you use the same image, you have to re-upload it or it will only show on the one you uploaded initially.

On some screens the right hand side is cut off.  It has been brought to the attention of the powers that be.  Just go to the previous page to click on a reply button.  They are working on a fix for this issue.

If you get notice of a Friends Request, you need to go to My Account, click on the Friends tab and the list of people who have invited you will show up there.  you can accept or refuse o that screen.

I may be lost and non-computer savy or it could be just the new site. That is why I am now listed as a new rookie (had to make a new profile) But no worries, I know where the Meet and Greet at Spirit's lot is and will be there again this year. LOL

How can I get the friend request to stay on the page?  It pops open to send message and add friend but the "send" button is just off screen and it keeps moving.  Hitting the "enter/return" key doesn't work either. 

I'm not sure what Friends request your referring to because I haven't had that problem.  The way I do it, and its been successful so far, is to click on a user's name, it takes me to their wall, then I click on the the freind invite below their name, a window opens and I use it.  Its always shown properly for me.  Is that the route your following?  If not, what process are you using so I can try to duplicate it?

That's exactly how I'm doing it and the damn box keeps going to the bottom of the page.  I can write a message but the "send" button is just out of sight.  When you try to go down on the page it keeps going down also. 

Hmmmm.. not sure on that one, they may be working on the system...if it doesn't correct itself, let me know. 

MedicineMan I had the same problem and all I did was change the size of the page to 75% and was able to get to the button I needed. I hope this will help you.

Did you get it figured out?  For some reason, the page size screwed it up for me in the same manner you are describing.  Then I had accidentally changed the size to 75% and the box quit sinking to the bottom of the frame, hidden.

If you click on the STORE tab at the top of the Home page, then click on RV Spaces you will get a map of the whole site, on the left hand side of the page click on the colored lot you are interested in and it will bring up a map for those lots and you can see your spaces, if too small click on the map and it will zoom it larger.
