Check out the new video from Christina Aguilera.  I think this sums up how some of us ladies ( that term is probably used lightly in this case) will be at ROT during those crazy nights!   I am soooooo looking forward to letting my hair down and having some real grown up fun.

This will be my 3rd year at ROT and I have to agree that the nights do get crazy.  Mayanqueen, sounds like you are ready to come out and enjoy yourself to the fullest!   I just checked out the video.  Great video and great lyrics!  Thanks for bringing it to the attention of us oldies who probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise.   If this inspires you then by all means be inspired.  There are several gals who relax their inhibitions at the rally and enjoy themselves so you will not be alone.  My wife came with me last year and really had a great time.  If she gets the chance to attend this year, we should hook up and she can show you the ropes.  According to her having someone with you during the nightlife makes it more enjoyable.     For those of you who have never been to this rally, do know that things get fun.  As noted in other topics, come with an open mind and don't be a prude.  That's what makes this rally the best ever.  To my other ROT buddies, wouldn't you agree?

Ladies, by all means come and enjoy the atmosphere.

Thanks Gency for those words of encourgement.  I was beginning to think that maybe I was out of place and possibly had the wrong idea of what ROT nightlife was about.    I really hope that Ronda can make it so that I at least have a buddy to show me the ropes.   Look forward to meeting you guys!

"tonight i'm not the same girl" is something i can't personally relate too, although i love the lyric "and if you don't like it f*** you!"  Authentic Mel is what i am at ROT, and i love being accepted for it.  i won't be crawling around in latex though 'cuz it's too freakin' hot in June!  (nice of C.A. to plug her own fragrance in there...smart marketing woman)

Mel, once I get my first ROT under my belt then I can be myself.  Just don't want to scare folks right off the bat!!  Latex has it's place, but you are right, not meant for an outdoor Texas June.

No, you are supposed to be yourself at the first ROT and then expand upon that every year.......that way more people know who you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've been trying to think of a way to wear fishnets and stay cool lol!  i think i'm just going to leave them at home, and wear jeans shorts and string tanks, as i always have.  it's just too hot to get all garbed up and i end up taking most of it off anyway

I know you are suppose to be yourself at ROT...what I meant by that is didn't want to get to freaky deaky online.  We are reminded that younger eyes may be reading (some parents just don't have control).  I am trying to be responsible ( I say that with a straight face)    I was at ROT last year and was just getting ready to enjoy the night life but had to cut the party short Thursday night and drive my friend back home to Dallas 'cause she became ill.  Our husbands stayed behind and kept the party going and brought home some great video and photos.  I plan on making it this year and picking up were I left off last year!!  No worries...I plan on a great time!  I want to come home with a bucket of beads.  Gency would be upset if I didn't.  He He.

My thoughts exactly on the Anthem Song!  I am a lucky girl and have a husband who encourges me to live it up...if it makes me happy then he is happy! 

All of this talk about clothes,  are you suppose to wear clothes at ROT?     Im not packing any, figured that would give me more room for the alcohol......lmao.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! It certainly owns up to how the females get at ROT! The few years before I took it pretty easy, well considering ITS ROT, but I couldnt believe how crazy I got last year!! I got more beads and passed out jello shots to any female that walked by! LOL

I def need to go to the meet and greet to meet more females, maybe I can find some to hang with so Im not the ONLY female everywhere I go!! haha

Okay, I'm gonna try to force myself to listen to it again.  I've never heard her sing before...and I've tried three times to watch it then I shut it down.  Not nearly as enjoyable as Tammy Wynette or Loretta Lynn - but I'll try again.  I never thought I'd say "I can't understand what they're saying" but I can't! lol

I really want to get crazy, but not having any of my female friends there chances are I will keep it calm.  Unless I can hook up with females who can show me the ropes.  I will be looking for you at the Meet & Greet.  You sound like someone who is a lot of fun.   Only problem is ROT won't get here fast enough!!!! 

I so agree with you  mayanqueen! its awesome to just let go at ROT and act like an animal. I love that Christina Aquilera video. its HOTTT!!!!!
