Neil, You might want to consult Sprit and Tim about the midnight toast at their camp. They like their private time together, it's their "AKA yearly honey moon" away from kids and life. She already host the Meet and Greet for us and that takes a lot of time and energy to set that up. She is also the head baby sitter on the forum, that takes up more time from her life and buisness matters than you think. If any thing I think we should be doing things to make her stay at ROT more comfortable. Spirit...Im I correct???????????????????????????????????????

No spirit I'm not trying to get you divorced You and Tim make a good couple. I was just throwing the idea out there! It just seems that all the good times I used to have at the ROT are falling apart Between all the cart bullsh*t, There's no wetnipple, the FUB bus will not be there this year and no midnight toast. I guess will have it at the Campsite! What next no nudity, no beads, Are they going to take away our applepie say we can't drink Jell-O shots?

I was just giving you a hard time Niel.  And even though ya'll may not see it this way, ROT's management has the best interest of their attendees at heart.  They want ROT to rock bigger than it ever has and give as many as possible the best time of their life.  The ladies of ROT are one of the things that has made ROT the party that it is.  They not only don't want to take away the party, but encourage everyone to have the best time possible.   I imagine running this rally is kind of like being a parent, some decision cause pain but they are for the overall good.  

 

Part of me says we need to find a new place for the midnight toast but like Tim says, a midnight toast without the FUB is just not going to be the same.  So, we need to find a new tradition at a location on site that won't change unless they do major construction work!!  Not a midnight toast.  That is for the FUB when Bebob brings it back next year.  (I am forever an optimist)  Maybe Bloody Mary Mornings at the pond or something along those lines. 

 

 

 

I have been going to the rally for 10 years! I have not given up on the rally, I know the people That run the rally do a very good job and do have our best interests at heart. I want to thank you spirit for keeping the tradition of the meet and greet alive So we can meet new friends. I know the midnight toast is a tradition for the bus but it would be nice to still have one. I guess I'll have one by myself!!!!!

It would be cool if we took turns having the midnight toast at different camp sites in honor of the missing "FUB".  I'll host one, one night but ya have to give me a ride to one of the concerts.  Who else wants to host one???

We will host one over at purple e-29, 8th year at rot! I will be there Wednesday.

This is our 3rd time to go to ROT but our first time in the RV Sec I am super excited but a little worried about all the rule changes..killing the fun.  We went to several different sizes of rallies last year and picked the three we liked the most for this year to start with.  Had fun both times at ROT, good time at BAR and a super good time at Rally at the Crater.. met some super people there and it was tooooo fun.  Was my bf first rally so double good.

SWEEET... I'll hafta find a portable BAR!!  Don't count me out Y'all... The FUB may not make it but I am plannin' on Sneekin' down at least for a couple a nights to party with my ROTn friends.

Is a bar on wheels considerd a trailer if its pulled by a bike with a rope or chain in order to transport it from one camp to another, of cource this could only be done during the day because it wont have working breaklights, blinkers or headlights? Did I cover all the rules, lol. No wait, I have solar powered christmas lights.

 

You BETTER be their!!!  Neil started the midnight toast thing in your honor, so I came up with the idea to take turns at different camp sights every night, then you said you would try and sneak away for a couple of days to meet up with your old ROT buds, then you said you were going to find a portable bar.  Look what you started mister, now how can you say "your gonna try and make it"???  Humm, I think I just bitched at you, lol.
