Depends on how much you party and like looking at all the wild stuff that goes on till wee hours of the morning.

Sure is a lot more fun to be had and a hell of a lot more to look at on grounds than their is in a hotel. You did the right thing getting a lot!!!

Onsite is WAY better. About the time you have to leave to get back to the hotel is when the party starts really cranking up on the rally grounds. We stayed offsite one time and one time only - our first year to attend. By the time ROT rolled around the next year we had an RV. The year after that we had a golf cart to bring. Staying onsite is definitely the way to go!!

I want to remind every one were just a little over 90 days out yes there are spaces left butt they wont last long I seen some one on fb said they just got there tax return and there going to get a space. If you know anyone that wants a space tell them they should get it now or get on the wait list I looked on past forums and it seems the last month up to a week be fore ROT Folks were asking to be put on the waiting list and didnt get a spot Im no procrastinatore I move fast and swift I have a lot of friends that seen on Bars web site where they say no restrictions like Rot I dont like bashing whatever it takes to get a sale I get it. But I do explain to my friends I only have 1 rv spot and at the last minute if they think there all going to pile in my rv I think not I prech eveery wendsday night at bike night to them. Im going against 4 nay sayers always trying to tell people rot has to many rules Yea ok butt come june I know those nay sayers will be like hey BP can we come stay with you or pitch a tent by you...
Yes people are saying there not going but at my bar it happens time and time again when they see there oppion dosent count and still 30 something of us are still going there going to want to go. With that being said let your friends know wait list early or snag the last few Spots.I believe all my friends on here will agree.

butt come june I know those nay sayers will be like hey BP can we come stay with you or pitch a tent by you...Better yet offer them a twin size blow up matress, 1 sheet and a small pillow. Charge them $50.00 each to sleep under you awning. NO potty privelages, NO meals and dang sure NO AC, lol. Blow up matress 20.00 each, in your pocket 30.00 each. I'll walk by your camp sigt in the morning and count how many 30.00's you made, lol. Serves them right for wanting to play but not pay!!!! I cant stand those type of people. Mooching off the ones that cant afford them the most.

I was just picking on him...we're both from North Louisiana. I grew up in Ruston and for 'fun', we went to the 'big city' of S'port. Same ole same ole is really dependent on where you live. We get spoiled here where I live in NW Florida since same ole around here is what a LOT of people (and college kids starting next week) do for vacation/Spring Break!
Now my favorite summer break from the SO-SO is ROT, of course.
Under 90 days and counting!
