we are planning on being there Wed. afternoon..but I was wondering if I am going to need to get one of those parking passes when we get there..I only need to be able to get to my campsite wherever that might be?? to drop off our stuff and then I can go park the truck either at the free lot or at my relatives. We will be on our bikes the rest of the time...and don't need the truck at the campsite Any info would be appreciated..thanks.

You won't need a parking pass to drop your stuff. In years past you could drive in just not stay parked at the campsite.

Dice, I was just corrected on this info. You DO need a parking pass to take a vehicle into the camping area. They changed that last year and either I forgot or didn't know it. So sorry to tell you wrong ... glad I found our before rally so you didn't get blindsided at the gate!

The parking passes are 20$ and good for the whole weekend.. Also if you have a small trailer under 14 foot, then you can leave that at your campsite ( wherever that may be ) and then leave your vehicle in the free lot... Make sure you get there after twelve so you don't take my camping spot... Just kidding...

I know the rule is anything longer then 14 foot trailers needs to be parked in the trail lot. but in the past they have been really good about the deal. As long as you are using it and it is not blocking in anyone or blocking emergany routes you are good. Your registration for the trailer is the Offical size of the trailer (The Law)!!!!!!! Have a good rally

If you pay for the pass you can park your Car, truck whatever you drive at your camp site and your trailer as long as the trailer is not over 14 feet long what is stated on your Registration. Bikes are free. If they let you in so you can drop off and you do not have a Parking Pass a CP or RV sticker and park at the camp spot they will tow your Vehicle.

So As long as we have the parking pass we can park our truck at camp? if not we have know prob parking in the parking lot?
I should already know the answer just double checking

Tent campers have to buy a parking pass to park anything other than bikes at their campsite. RVer's receive an RV vehichle pass with their space and can park there so long as the vehicle fits inside their RV site. Vehicles without a parking or RV pass have to park in the free parking lot.

I honestly think it's not worth it to buy the parking pass for your vehicle if you're tent camping. I think I got in my car maybe twice the whole time last year! Plus, if you're tent camping, you prob have a bike so you could always just ride to the parking lot for whatever it is you need your vehicle for. Just speaking from my experience last year.

My complaint whit this is that now more people will want to park at the campsite since they paid for the pass, taking up more space and putting more cars where we really don't want them.
