So I plan on riding down from the Dallas area how in the heck do you fit camping gear on a bike??? I am open to suggestions

figure at a min. you need a tent/sleeping bag/cooler of some sort for water.

We're riding from Dallas as well. However, since it's me and the hubby, he's riding the bike down and I'm driving the truck with all the gear. Beyond that, I have NO clue how you'd do it!

Talk to Ed.  He can pack more stuff on Sally than a prospector can on a pack mule!

Didn't ed post a pic once of his bike? That thing was loaded like Donald Trump. As for me, I'll put my 2 chairs on the luggage rack then put my pack on top of them, the rest will go in the saddle bags. We'll probably only pack about 3 days worth of clothes and just use the laundry mat but summer clothes don't take up much room anyways, especially women's. God I love summer!
