Hey ya'll, Chef here. Had a blast last year and we are down like charlie brown. Did'nt get to camp with the SOB'er but we were right down the road at the front of the entrance to the spot. Plan on getting there early to do it again. So who's making the apple pie this year

SOB = shack out backer. it's a super party group that tent camp all in the same general area and are always encouraging others to join in on their fun.

I've been away from ROT the last 2 years (had a baby)!  I'll be an SOB this year though.  Can't wait!

Yeap its a great time  I really enjoyed it but I dont think were comming back this year ...bought us a new little motorcycle camper trailer so we are going on a road trip with our little camper maybe to New Mexico.  Damn I just may put it up in the yard

and have my own little rally .......

 

It'll be great to meet you! Last year was mine and my hubby's first year and we LOVED it!! Can't wait to go again. Hoping its not going to be as affected by these new rules as people are saying.

The Shack Out Backers.  They are a group of forum members that camp together "out back" of where the Paradise Bar used to be. It was a great location before they moved PB last year.  They got to enjoy all the music while staying cool, or should I say cooler,  under the shade trees. 

 

(And they are not to be confused with the other SOB's at ROT, the Swingers on Bikes! lol) 

Chef, Was that the apple pie I tasted with the FireFighters?  OMG, It was AWESOME!  I have been trying to find the receipe!

Just found out the crew we hung with last year are not returning and they did not reserve the RV spot.  We are thinking of tenting it this year.  Any suggestions, hints or inside info?  I so enjoyed Lime lot last year for my first year, but I am willing and looing forward to broadening my ROT experience!  Any suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Hey snookie, you are always welcome to camp out near us. We stay just down from the SOB's at the entrance to the area closest to the ice vender. Going to try and make some apple pie but the one we tasted last year was over at Spirit's meet and greet. Don't know who made it but it was gooooooooooooooood! CHEF

well, we have stayed in town BUT the whole experience can only be had by staying on the grounds 24 hrs/day...we drink very minmum if any so that is not a problem for us to ride the bike to/from town. we don't have a camper or rv,
