What would everyone say if they "Split" the inhouse rally parade into 2 halves...1 side for the steady slow progression of a normal parade...the other side for the ones that want to flash and impede the flow of traffic. We only made 2 laps on the parade route fri. night about 7pm, probably won't ever do it again, didn't enjoy it while having to control my bike!

My problem with the parade route has been that I couldn't get to my campsite from the vendor area or showers without going through it. That wasted a lot of time.

Honustar, you just need to learn to navagate the grounds. :) Anytime day or night I can get from one side of the grounds to the other in about 5 minutes when I have too.  I don't usually go the quick ways ... :D ... but it can be done.  At least on a cart I can navagate anywhere quickly.  On a bike ... don't know ... but I bet you still could.  You just cut through the sections on non traversed roads and use the vendor area as a roadway instead of going on the parade route. On Sat. night I can get from my spot in Purple to my good friends in Blue (halfway to the concert stage) in under 6 minutes.  Somebody said I couldn't do it and said "Watch me!" lol

Spirit, you're probably right. I guess I just stick to the route so I don't get lost. Biker-princess, I just had a baby May 03, 2010, but I have more than 5 lbs to lose still!

now that I know my site # I guess I can start planning my routes to different spots now while I'm sober instead of just driving till I find the spot I wanna go or be at. Like you said, with some preplanning maybe it'll be easier to navigate "around" the parade route when ya don't wanna get stuck in the crowd.
