The Republic of Texas Biker Rally (ROT Biker Rally) is the biggest motorcycle rally in Texas. It is the fourth or fifth largest motorcycle event in the U.S. and one of the most attended and best organized motorcycle rallies in the world. Motorcycle enthusiasts come enjoy the amazing motorcycles, the Austin nightlife and of course the beautiful Texas women. This event challenges some of the best, yet undiscovered, custom motorcycle builders who unveil their custom motorcycles, many for the first time ever, at the Republic Of Texas Rally!
The four-day rally starts the second Thursday in June each year at the Travis County Exposition Center in Austin Texas. The city of Austin also closes off the downtown area for a huge party on Congress Ave. on Friday night for what is considered the largest biker party in a downtown area of a large city. ROT Rally expects more than 50,000 participants in 2010, and will draw over 200,000 spectators to the downtown streets of Austin during the Friday Night of the ROT Rally to party biker style. Events included top name bands, a bike show, custom bike builders, ride in bike show, The World Famous Wall of Death, Comedians, Big name Bands, dealers, distributors, tattoo contest, contests for the ladies, stunt riders, 350 vendors, the ROT parade and more.
The ROT Rally officially starts on Thursday with an escorted parade leaving the rally site at 7:30pm on Friday Night and riding through the streets of downtown Austin for a 12-mile route. In 2006 the Guinness Book of World Records certified the ROT Parade as the "Longest Parade of Motorcycles." The ROT Rally is an all-weather event, and it will be held, rain or shine. Rally Ends Noon Sunday, June 13, 2010!
